We collect the minimum data required to operate the valet ticketing and tipping experience. We don’t sell your personal information.
What we collect
- Ticket info you or staff enter (name, vehicle info, ticket number, status).
- Contact info if you choose SMS (phone number in E.164 format).
- Payment metadata for tipping/charges (handled by our payment processor).
- Basic usage logs for security, abuse prevention, and reliability.
How we use it
- Create and manage valet tickets.
- Send ticket links by SMS when enabled.
- Process tips and update ticket balances.
- Support staff operations (status updates, checkout, receipts).
- Detect fraud/abuse and keep the system stable.
SMS / text messages
- If a ticket is created in phone mode, we may text the guest a ticket link.
- Message delivery depends on the carrier and may fail or be delayed.
- You can opt out by replying STOP (where supported).
- We store message status (queued/sent/delivered/failed) for auditing and debugging.
Payments
- Card payments are processed by our payment processor (e.g., Stripe).
- We do not store full card numbers.
- We may store payment IDs, status, and amounts for receipts and reconciliation.
Sharing
- We share data with service providers only to operate the app (SMS + payments + hosting).
- We may disclose information if required by law or to prevent fraud/abuse.
- We don’t sell personal information.
Retention
- We retain ticket and payment-related records for operational and accounting needs.
- We may retain logs for security and troubleshooting.
- If a property requests deletion, we’ll follow applicable requirements and constraints.
Security
- We use access controls and audit trails.
- No system is perfect — but we aim for practical, modern security standards.
Your choices
- Use manual mode to avoid SMS.
- Request a copy or deletion where applicable.
- If you’re a property/operator, you control what you enter on tickets.
